Frequently Asked Questions

Why am I being asked for an Invitation Code?

The Whova mobile app or web portal will only prompt you for an invitation code if you’re using a different email address than the one you used to register—or one that’s not listed in the event’s attendee list.

It’s also possible that you used a different email address for a previous Whova event (such as the 2022–2025 PBNHC), which can cause a login issue.

To fix this, make sure you’re signing in with the same email address you used to register for the 2026 Power Of The Plate Conference. If you’ve used Whova before, log out of the app and log back in using your correct registration email.

Please contact us at support@plantricianproject.org with further questions.

I am not a Medical Doctor or other healthcare practitioner, may I still attend?

Absolutely. While the Power Of The Plate Conference provides CME/CE-accredited education designed for physicians and other healthcare professionals, it is also a global gathering that welcomes health enthusiasts, advocates, students, educators, and leaders from public health, food systems, sustainability, education, policy, and industry.

Many non-clinical attendees over the years have described the experience as inspiring, informative, and even life-changing. Whether your interest is personal health, sustainability, professional growth, or driving change in your community, you’ll find evidence-based knowledge, practical strategies, and a supportive network ready to empower you.

If you’re eager to understand how food shapes health, communities, and the planet—and to join a coalition of changemakers advancing solutions—the Power Of The Plate Conference is the place to be.

I would like to register for only a portion of the conference, do you offer a single day registration option?

• Attendees will receive an email with important information on accessing the Whova VIRTUAL platform on or around May 10, 2026.

• You will need a working internet connection (ideally a high-speed connection) to access the conference for both the VIRTUAL live broadcast and the On-Demand sessions. All common web browsers should work including Firefox, Safari, Edge, Chrome, etc.

• If you have any problems logging on, please make sure your pop-up-blocker is turned off and you have no website access restrictions.

Do attendees need to watch the “virtual live” sessions at the times listed or may they watch them “on demand” as their schedule permits?

Once registered, attendees have full flexibility to decide when and how to participate in the virtual conference. Each attendee can engage in the way that best fits their schedule.

That said, the recommended way to participate is by following the official virtual live schedule. Attending sessions live ensures that eligible attendees are automatically enrolled for all available CE credits—no additional steps required.

If attendees are unable to join live sessions or prefer to watch all sessions on demand, that’s perfectly fine as well. However, to earn CE credits for on-demand viewing, attendees must complete and pass a short multiple-choice assessment at the end of the final session. After passing the assessment, they will then submit for CME credits.

Access to all CE-accredited sessions—whether live or on-demand—will remain available through April 30, 2027.

How soon after the scheduled VIRTUAL live session is aired will the on-demand video of that session be available?

The video on-demand of each session will be available within 48 hours (if not sooner – usually less that 24 hours) after the end of the scheduled VIRTUAL live session.

Do attendees get access to the sessions post conference?

Yes. After the conference, all attendees will receive access to all VIRTUAL conference sessions via the online platform until April 30, 2027.

If an attendee is unable to attend a session when they are live but still want to claim ENDURING MATERIAL CE credit for a missed session, they will have the ability to do so through the VIRTUAL conference platform. All CE guidelines must still be met, and attendees may need to “pass” a short, multiple choice assessment of the sessions. Attendee access to these CE accredited sessions will be available until April 30, 2027.
