Located in the heart of Los Angeles’ entertainment district, Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City is a 4-diamond hotel adjacent to Universal Studios Hollywood. Overlooking the Hollywood Hills, the hotel is just a half-mile from Universal CityWalk’s shopping, dining, and entertainment. The local Metro station is only a 5 minute walk, making it easy to travel to Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood Bowl, or other local sights. Guests also enjoy access to the hotel’s outdoor pool and 24 hr fitness center.

On-site conference check-in is set for Thursday, May 13th from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM concluding with the final conference session early afternoon on Sunday, May 16th. Refer to the Conference Agenda for details.

Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City is offering a special group rate at $249.00 USD per night (plus taxes and fees).

We encourage all attendees to book their stay at the Hilton, the official conference hotel. By reserving your room within The Plantrician Project’s block, you’ll enjoy the full POP experience—easy access to sessions, networking, and special conference amenities—and help us meet our hotel commitment, avoiding extra costs that impact future events.

Space is limited so please reserve early.

Reservations must be made by the "Cut-Off Date," Monday, April 19, 2027. Reservation requests received after the Cut-Off Date will be based on availability at the Hotel's prevailing rates. PLEASE RESERVE EARLY!!!

Air / Ground Transportation

Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) is the closest airport to Universal City, CA. It is approximately 6 miles away and a 15 to 25 minute drive, depending on traffic. Information on ground transportation can be found HERE.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is a major airport option for attendees traveling to Universal City. It is approximately 27 miles away and a 45 to 90 minute drive, depending on traffic. Information on ground transportation can be found HERE.

Long Beach Airport (LGB) is another Southern California airport option. It is approximately 32 miles away and a 45 to 90 minute drive, depending on traffic. Information on ground transportation can be found HERE.

John Wayne Airport (SNA) is farther from Universal City, but may be a reasonable option depending on flight availability. It is approximately 49 miles away and a 1 to 2 hour drive, depending on traffic. Information on ground transportation can be found HERE

Train / Rail

The Amtrak Pacific Surfliner serves Los Angeles Union Station and the Burbank Airport South station. Attendees traveling by train may connect to Universal City by rideshare, taxi, or public transit.

Parking

If you are staying at the Hilton, overnight self-parking is $TBD. For commuters, parking at the Hilton is $TBD per day. Valet parking at prevailing rates.

Host City

In May, Los Angeles typically enjoys mild, pleasant weather with comfortable daytime temperatures often ranging from the upper 60s°F to mid 70s°F and cooler mornings and evenings in the upper 50s°F to low 60s°F. Conditions are generally dry with plenty of sunshine, making it a great time to explore the city, enjoy outdoor dining, and experience nearby attractions in Universal City, Hollywood, and the greater Los Angeles area.
